Artefacts of Fragmentation

Artefacts of Fragmentation is designed to provoke contemplation on the ethical challenges intrinsic to algorithmic curation through interactive experiences and immersive narratives. By engaging with these artefacts, viewers are prompted to question their assumptions, explore alternative perspectives, and cultivate a deeper understanding of the intricate dynamics shaping digital spaces today.

Systematic Chaos

This research endeavor is dedicated to the meticulous exploration and exhaustive experimentation of Digital fonts as a distinct form of decoration. By pushing the boundaries of typographic expression, the project aims to uncover and fully utilize the creative potential inherent in Digital symbols, icons, and pictograms, this project strives to creatively capture designs that showcase the vast artistic possibilities of these unique fonts. Throughout exhaustive experimentation, this project aims to contribute to the realm of visual composition by exploring new frontiers of creative possibilities.

AI-Generated Art

Genesis

Genesis is a visual heretical Bible that recounts the stories from the first chapter of the Old Testament. When you first open it, you'll notice that the images are surreal, odd, and unnerving. The Bible creates an ominous undertone by contrasting summaries of religious texts with heretical images that unsettle the reader. These images are generated by AI text prompts that summarize Bible verses and are inspired by the perspective of people who worship God out of fear of the consequences of life and the afterlife if they don't.

Identity

Emergent Films

Emergent Films is a production company based in Singapore that specializes in commercial videos. To appeal to more international clients, they wanted a complete rebrand and to opt for a more minimal and modernist identity. After coming up with multiple ideas, the solution we went ahead with is to create a flexible visual identity that can help future-proof the brand. The flexible visual identity makes up the logo and a bespoke font 'Emergent' that features chipped-off edges to reflect the cutting-edge solutions the brand provides. After getting the foundation of the identity down, we created a brand website that contains the contact information and features the brand's showreel and works. The website is the first point of contact for new clients so the navigation has to be simple and clear.

Identity

Noctowle Inn

Noctowle’s identity circles around the brand attributes of welcoming, modern, and luxury. Located where the nightlife lies (Ecuador, Quito), the inn allows party-goers to wind down and finish their day in a comfortable and homely accommodation. The Noctowle bar also serves amazing local food and drinks for those who thinks the night is still young.
